Hazel Reitz - Creative Living Workshops
I have enjoyed
painting and arts
and crafts for
all of my life, self taught in most things but
at last able to
realise a long held ambition, I am currently studying for a
degree in contemporary textiles.
It is my strongly held belief, that through
exploring our creativity we can overcome some of the everyday stresses that
cause disease , recover self esteem and confidence and gain freedom from
depression. As a qualified reflexologist and ex- nurse l am experienced in
dealing with the physical manifestations of illness caused by stress. Through
my own creativity and life experiences I have a deep insight into how
exploring and enjoying the creative arts gives energy and enthusiasm that
spills out on to all aspects of one’s life
The workshops are informal, relaxed, non
accredited and are aimed at pure enjoyment, allowing people to really explore
and experiment with different crafts without the fear of being assessed, judged
or made to feel inadequate in any way. They are held within a healing
environment at a natural therapy centre – Alliance Therapy Carmarthen in Blue
Street, Carmarthen (opposite bus station) - with the emphasis on it being part
of a wider holistic process, healing body mind and spirit.
My aim is for you to relax, have fun and make new
friends. You do not need to have any experience or prior skills , the workshops
cater for all abilities and with small classes you can be sure of receiving
individual attention.
Hopefully I can pass on the joy and enthusiasm
that drives me and help you to discover your own inner creativity and to feel
the satisfaction and fulfilment that it brings.
Workshops are half days, on a Saturday and cost
£15 including materials and tea, coffee and biscuits.
